This release adds the new features and changes below. These updates allow you to view documents other than consent forms that study sites share with you, update your phone number and email address, and review consent forms as a proxy, guardian, representative, witness, or translator.

We’ve also released our iOS app and redesigned our web app to be more accessible.

You can now review and complete consent forms as a proxy, guardian, representative, witness, or translator in MyVeeva for Patients.

Document Library Added

If you’re a study participant, guardian, or proxy, you can now view and download study documents other than consent forms in MyVeeva for Patients. The documents could include items such as instructions for using home medical devices, information about payments, or other information depending on your study’s needs.

Design Refresh Added

Redesigned web application in the December 3, 2021 release

We’ve updated the layout and style of MyVeeva for Patients to make it more accessible and easier to navigate. You can now switch between the Tasks and Documents pages, view your profile settings, view notifications, switch between roles, and search and filter documents.

iOS App Added

Consent form in the iOS app

Our MyVeeva for Patients iOS app is now available! You can now use the app to view and download study documents and to sign, decline, and download consent forms.

Account Settings Added

Account settings page

You can now update your email address and phone number in the MyVeeva for Patients web application. We’ll send you an email or text message to verify your identity when you update your contact information.

Unlock Codes Added

You may now need an unlock code to sign a consent form. If the study site requires one, you can view the forms they send to you but won’t be able to sign them until you have the unlock code. When they give you the code, you can enter it to sign and submit the document.
