22R3

This release adds the new features and changes below. These updates provide you with new survey question types for surveys you might receive from your study team. They also allow you to receive mobile push notifications and to view and receive notifications in a new notification bell. You can now choose from six new languages that our apps and messages can be in. Additionally, the Android, iOS, and web app designs are refreshed with an updated look and feel.

This release is available in our Android, iOS, and web apps.

  • Android App: You can download the Android app from Google Play. If you currently use our Android app, you’ll be required to update it when you next log in.
  • iOS App: You can download the iOS app update from the App Store. If you currently use our iOS app, you'll be required to update it when you next log in.
  • Web: We update our web app automatically.

New Survey Question Types Added

You can now receive surveys containing new question types if your study team assigns these surveys to you. The new question types include multiple-choice, date and/or time entry, number entry, and single-choice questions with a drop-down menu. You may also now receive surveys that allow you to use back and next buttons for navigation.

Android, iOS, and Web UI Refresh Added

You can now experience a refreshed look and feel in the Android, iOS, and web apps. If you use the Android, iOS, or mobile web app on a smartphone, you now have a top and bottom navigation system and can select your notification bell, account settings, tasks, and documents from the same screen. If you use the mobile web app on a tablet or iPad or the web app on desktop, you now have a refreshed look to the navigation sidebar. Your tasks now have updated designs and statuses.

If you use your MyVeeva account as multiple roles, you can now change roles by selecting the account icon and selecting Account. When you change roles to a guardian, proxy, witness, or translator, a colored banner at the top of the screen shows which role you’re currently using.

Notification Bell Redesign Added

You can now receive and view notifications in your notification bell. Notifications are sorted by the date and time they’re sent, and an indicator on the bell shows how many unread notifications you have. You can select a notification from your notification bell and automatically navigate to the task it relates to.

If you complete a task related to an unread notification, the notification automatically removes itself from your notification bell. You can also clear notifications from your notification bell one at a time or all at once.

See Getting Started for more information.

You can now choose Norwegian, Singaporean, Spanish (Mexico), Swedish, Thai, and Turkish as your preferred language in your account settings. When you do so, we update our app and the messages we send you to be in the new language. The materials such as consent forms that study sites send you may or may not be in your preferred language.

Currently, we support Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Singaporean, Spanish, Spanish (Mexico), Swedish, Thai, and Turkish.
